There’s something quietly mysterious about a desert landscape, isn’t there?

Desert views always make me think about the ancient history of the landscape, wondering about the eons gone by. That history is depicted here in rippling geological layers of earth strata, echoing elusive mysteries into each layer, lying beneath the horizon. It purposefully remained a simple painting intended for a meditative gaze.
