These title of this painting was in part inspired by the notable author Ayn Rand’s book and also my husband Darius Lux wrote a musical album of the same name. The idea of the title is to empower people as individuals, and furthermore to encourage them to embody the changes they are looking to see in our world.
In my painting these leaders of thought are suspended in spheric orbs of brilliant white light, harnessing the light of the sun and swooping down over hills and valleys, bringing abundance and knowledge to all people of the earth down below.
The dynamic application of cubist divisions greatly enhances the appearance of light rays beaming from the left corner, and spreads a rainbow of rippling color across the mountaintops, from left to right. A unique blend of abstract expressionism and cubist surrealism celebrates joyful outer expansion through inner experience, seen in the beings that drive the movement across the piece.
