Who doesn't love flowers?
When the first blooms of spring came up in my backyard this year, I gathered a huge bouquet of flowers which compelled me to paint it immediately! This was among my first few semi-figurative expressionist paintings, and it was fun to push the boundaries of interpreting form loosely, while experimenting with raised textures.
