"The Groundswell of Spring" Painting, at Summer’s End

Here is my newest painting, an exploration into softer colors, which inspired a dreamy setting. I started it in springtime, but it took so long, now that it’s done summer is finished!

I’m increasingly preferring to write a poem about each painting, instead of a paragraph description, as I think it lends more poetic license to everyone’s interpretation. Please let me know what you think!
